B6341 High Street - Temporary Road Closure

B6341 HIGH STREET ROTHBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 3 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341 High Street Rothbury from its junction with Church Street heading in an easterly direction for a length of 48 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2024 until the 4th February 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd December 2024 until the 3rd December 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 4th February 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6342, C195, A696, B6341 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out anti-skid surfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
