NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 51 (PART) – PARISH OF BARLOW)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024

THE ABOVE ORDER made on 10 October 2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the whole width of that part of Barlow Parish Public Footpath No. 51 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 3480 7543) and proceeding in a generally eastward direction for approximately 242 metres to Point B (GR SK 3504 7545) to a 2-metre-wide compacted stone surfaced footpath at Millbrook Farm in Barlow Parish, commencing from the aforementioned Point A and proceeding in an east north-eastward direction for around 116 metres to Point C (GR SK 3490 7548), then north north-westward for around 23 metres to Point D (GR SK 3489 7550), then north-eastward for around 59 metres to Point E (GR SK 3494 7554), then east north-eastward for around 5 metres to Point F (GR SK 3495 7554), then generally eastward for around 69 metres to Point G (GR SK 3501 7555), then eastward for around 3 metres to Point H (GR SK 3502 7555), then south south-eastward and south-eastward for around 49 metres to Point J (GR SK 3504 7550), a total distance of 324 metres or thereabouts as shown on the order map.

Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Dronfield Library, Manor House, High Street, Dronfield, S18 1PY during normal opening hours.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent to the Director of Legal and Democratic Services, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3AG or by email to Lindsey.Heath@derbyshire.gov.uk not later than 5 December 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
