THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CROMFORD ROAD, LANGLEY MILL AND HANDS ROAD/HIGH RIDGE, HEANOR)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 31st October 2024 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 11th November 2024 and its effect is:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Cromford Road, Langley Mill
West side
From a point 31 metres south of its junction with Dean Street in a southerly direction, for a distance of 5 metres.
Hands Road, Newlands
North-east side
From a point opposite a point 18 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Leafy Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 39 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, are revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Heanor Library, Ilkeston Road, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 7DX during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 12th December 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 31st October 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
