Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on 7 November 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN WOLVERTON, WESTCROFT AND MONKSTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2050)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of roads to allow Anglian Water to carryout maintenance and new connection works.
18th November 2024 and 20th November 2024 (24 hours)
Windsor Street, Wolverton – (its service road) between the rear of number 132 to the rear of number 134.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Western Road, Windsor Street and Furze Way (and vice versa).
19th November 2024 and 20th November 2024 (24 hours)
Lilleshall Avenue, Monkston – Outside Number 80 Lilleshall Avenue.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Lilleshall Avenue, Blanchland Circle, Kilwinning Drive (and vice versa).
19th November 2024 and 20th November 2024 (24 hours)
Exbury Lane, Westcroft – Outside Number 2 Exbury Lane.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Miserden Crescent, Babylon Grove, Exbury Lane (and vice versa).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 5 November 2024 made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WATER EATON ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2036)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow Network Rail to carry out a tactile examination of the railway bridge.
11th November – 12th November 2024 (overnight 22:30-05:00)
Water Eaton Road, Bletchley – From its junction with Duncombe Street to its junction with Wellington Place.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Manor Road, Vicarage Road, Queensway, Princes Way, Saxon Street and Buckingham Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 013, SHENLEY CHURCH END) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (No.2) (reference: TTRO-2076)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along part of Footpath 013, Shenley Church End, from its junction with Dansteed Way to its junction with Longhorn Drive.
The diversion route will be in place adjacent to the closure.
In the interest of public safety and to enable the construction of the Housing Development the footpath will remain closed for a period of 6 months.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 8th November 2024 and will expire on 7th May 2025 (24 Hours) and will only take effect at times during the above period only when required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any restriction.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BUCKINGHAM ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (No.2) (reference: TTRO-2037)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow Network Rail to carry out a tactile examination of the railway bridge.
10th November – 11th November 2024 (overnight 20:00-06:00)
Buckingham Road, Bletchley – From its junction with Saxon Street to its junction with Water Eaton Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Saxon Street, Bletcham Way, Grafton Street and Standing Way (and vice versa).
