What is happening?

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. 117) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that on the 6th day of November 2024 the City of Doncaster Council made an Order under
the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 14th day of November 2024 will be to:
(i) Revoke a 20 mph speed limit on the following road:
Doncaster
Cedar Road from its junction with Grenville Road to its junction with Springwell Lane
(ii) Revoke a 30 mph speed limit on the following road:
That length of Alverley Lane at Balby which extends from its junction with Tickhill Road for a distance of 70 metres
in a south westerly direction.
(iii) Introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:

Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday or on the City of Doncaster Council

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it
is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any
requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you
may within six weeks from the 6th day of November 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (PO802)
