Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Prohibitions & Restrictions

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below:

CROWN ROAD EN1 - 4379

Reason for 14(1) Order - Virgin Media Works

• Operational Date and times:

  "At Any time" on 11 November 2024 for 2 days or until works are completed.

• The general effect of the Order will be:

  to suspend parking on both sides of this road from a point 92 metres north of its junction with Southbury Road for a distance of approximately 24 metres northwards.

HENDERSON ROAD AND DENNY ROAD N9 - 4380

Reason for 14(1) Order - Water Works

• Operational Date and times:

  Between 22:00 hours on 11 November 2024 until 05:30 hours on 12 November 2024 for one night.

• The general effect of the Order will be to:

  • Close Henderson Road between its junctions with Water Lane and Hertford Road N9; and
  • Close Denny Road between its junction with Colville Road and Hertford Road N9.
  • While these roads are closed, local diversions will be in operation.

ALBANY ROAD N18 - 4381

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Utility Works

• Operational Date and times:

  "At Any time" on 11 November 2024 for 28 days or until works are completed.

• The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking at its junction with Leopold Road, south eastwards for a distance of approximately 45 metres.

  • While this road is closed, access will be maintained only as far as the works allow.

BRICK LANE AND OLDBURY ROAD EN1 - 4382

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Highway Works

• Operational Date and times:

  "At Any time" on 11 November 2024 for 5 days or until works are completed.

• The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of the road and close the roads listed below:

  • 1A Oldbury Road EN1 3QN to 123 Brick Lane EN1 3PP. Approx. 60m;
  • Brick Lane, from 111 to 121. Approx 36m;
  • Brick Lane from Junction with Hammond Road to Junction with Armand Road. Approx 70m; and
  • Brick Lane, from Junction with Mapleton Road to 42 Brick Lane for Approx 75m.
  • While the roads are closed, local diversions will be in operation.

SILVER STREET AND OLD ROAD EN1 - 4383

Reason for 14(1) Order - Sewer Works

• Operational Date and times:

  "At Any time" on 11 November 2024 for 10 days or until works are completed.

• The general effect of the Order will be to close this road from its junction with Churchbury Road to its junction with Collinwood Avenue.

  • While these roads are closed, local diversions will be in operation.

CHASE GREEN AVENUE EN2 - 4384

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential bridge maintenance works

• Operational Date and times:

  Between 22:00 hours on 12 November 2024 until 06:00 hours on 13 November 2024 for one night.

• The general effect of the Order will be to close this road from its junction with Monks Close to its junction with Cornwall Corner.

  • Whilst this road is closed, local diversions will be in operation.
