East Ayrshire Council
(Stewarton Road, Fenwick) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

On 5th of November 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to prevent obstructive parking.

No Waiting At Any Time -

Stewarton Road - South-East from M77 junction approx 115m excluding bus stop towards B7061junction North side of carriageway

Stewarton Road - South-East from M77 junction approx 115m excluding driveways and accesses towards B7061 junction South side of carriageway

B778 - North-West from M77 junction approx 45m both sides of carriageway excluding bus stops towards A77

The Order commences on 18 November 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 18 November 2024 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 17 May 2026 at 15:00. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Station Road,Main Street Prestwick)
(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

On 31st October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 62 of the Roads ( Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order to allow Prestwick Christmas Lights Switch-On. 

Temporary Road Closure – Station Road Prestwick. From Station Road from The Cross to Station Drive.

No Waiting At Any Time - Station Road, Main Street, Prestwick. Station Road Prestwick - from The Cross to Station Drive Both Sides. Main Street Prestwick from number 15 - 47 - One Side

The Order commences on 24 November 2024. The Event rerstrictions will commence from 24 November 2024 at 00:01 until 24 November 2024 at 23:01

The days and times of the event may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. 

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the event zone will be maintained whenever possible.

An alternative route will be signed via East Bound - Midton Road - Grangemuir Road - Main Street West Bound - Main Street - Grangemuir Road - Midton Road. 


South Ayrshire Council
(Louisa Drive, Girvan) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

On 31 October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow Carriageway Resurfacing 

Temporary Road Closure – Louisa Drive, Girvan, 365 metres.

The Order commences on 18 November 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 18 November 2024 at 08:00 until 29 November 2024 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to do so. 

An alternative route will be signed via Knockcushan Street - Henrietta Street - Duncan Street and vice versa.
