HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod i ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, yn bwriadu gwneud gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y ffyrdd a nodir yn yr atodlen isod rhwng 07:00 a 23:59.

Mae’r llwybr amgen ar hyd Station Road, Ponthir Road, A4042 a Caerleon Road (B4596).

Y rheswm dros roi’r gorchymyn yw i wneud gwaith gosod arwyneb newydd.

Bydd y gorchymyn arfaethedig yn weithredol o 17 Tachwedd 2024 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis neu tan y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa bynnag un fydd gyntaf. NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL (MILL STREET & CASTLE STREET, CAERLEON, NEWPORT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Newport City Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers intends not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the roads set out in schedule below between the hours of 07:00 and 23.59.

The alternative route is via Station Road, Ponthir Road, A4042 and Caerleon Road (B4596).

The reason for making the order is due to resurfacing works.

The proposed order will be operative from 17th November 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period of 18 months or until the works have completed whichever is earlier. Pedestrian access and emergency access will be available. Further details and a plan can be requested at conveyancing.team@newport.gov.uk
