(Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 26) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 23, 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
Effect of the changes: To revoke ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions for the implementation of a proposed upgrade of an existing Pedestrian Island Crossing to Zebra Crossing, A128 Ongar Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood.
1. To Revoke: ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions
Road - Description
A128, Ongar Road, Pilgrims Hatch - BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 16.8 metres south east of the centre line of Windsor Road south east for approximately 2.7 metres
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tile: TQ585 947 and TQ585 950 Revision 0 to Revision 1.
2. Upgrade: an existing Pedestrian Island Crossing to Zebra Crossing, A128 Ongar Road Centre line of the crossing: Located approximately 34 metres south east from the centre of Windsor Road.
The width of the crossing: (Between the give way lines) is approximately 6.4 metres.
Crossing Zigzags: Western side – approximately 13 metres
Eastern Side – approximately 17.5 metres

Objections: Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed scheme should send the grounds for their objection via e-mail to TrafficRegulation.Order@essexhighways.org quoting reference TRAF/8434 by 29 November 2024.
(Firsgrove Road & Fisgrove Crescent, Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Firsgrove Road & Fisgrove Crescent, Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from the junction with Milton Road for a distance of approximately 260m in a south westerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd December 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2362168 & EP201EH2365861 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 13th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(New Road, Ingatestone) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Road, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 125m north west of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd December 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30054961320 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 13th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mountnessing Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mountnessing Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Wyatts Green Road for a distance of approximately 1445m in a northerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30054075369 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Mountnessing Road, Ingatestone Road, Chelmsford Road, Blackmore Road, Mill Green Road, Fryerning Lane, High Street, Roman Road, Mountnessing – Ingatestone Link Road, Mountnessing – Ingatestone Link Road, Thoby Lane, Swallows Cross Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Wyatts Green Road, Wyatts Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wyatts Green Road, Wyatts Green in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mountnessing Road for a distance of approximately 805m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30045161195 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Wyatts Green Road, Mill Lane, Hook End Road, Tipps Cross Lane, Ongar Road, Nine Ashes Road, The Green, Ingatestone Road, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
