Ashbourne Road - Temporary Road Closure For Installation of Water Apparatus

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ASHBOURNE ROAD, CHURCH BROUGHTON

WHEN: 22 November to 29 November 2024.

WHERE: Ashbourne Road, Church Broughton from its Jct. with Church Road for an approx. distance of 55m north.

REASON: To facilitate installation of water apparatus.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashbourne Road, Unnamed Section of C37 from Leapley Lane to Ashbourne Road, Long Lane, Sutton Lane, Longford Lane, Sutton Road, Church Road and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
