Walton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Roundabout And Link Road Into Development
What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure Walton Road, Drakelow
WHEN: 11 November to 20 November 2024.
WHERE: Walton Road, Drakelow from a point approx. 315m south of its Jct. with Cauldwell Road for an approx. distance of 370m south.
REASON: To facilitate surfacing of a new roundabout and link road into development.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Walton Road, Rosliston Road South, Rosliston Road, Burton Road, Coton Road, Main Street, Drakelow Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
