What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction)

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 2/12/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 20/12/24. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: CUSTOM HOUSE HILL, WILLOW STREET, MULBERRY STREET, TEIGNMOUTH  THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: RC REQUIRED FOR GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT WORKS.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: BADLAKE HILL, DAWLISH, (FROM NEAR MYRTLE COTTAGE TO NEAR NO.7)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - BADLAKE HILL, EMPSONS HILL, ROAD HEADING NORTH FROM OAK HILL CROSS, WEECH ROAD, BADLAKE HILL.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: FIRE HYDRANT RENEW.

Roads affected: ROAD FROM OTTERS TO OAKHURST, LUSTLEIGH, (FROM NEAR BOULDERS TO NEAR WESTWAYS)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD FROM OTTERS TO OAKHURST, ROAD FROM WAY FARM TO IVY COTTAGE, ROAD PAST RUDGE, ELLIMORE ROAD, ROAD FROM OTTERS TO OAKHURST.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: INSTALL FIRE HYDRANT.
