CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR (HEOL PEN-Y-CAE, PEN-Y-CAE) HYSBYSIAD TRAFFIG DROS DRO 2024

HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Prifyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Trafg Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyfwyno dros dro’r cyfyngiadau a amlinellir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn hanfodol oherwydd lled annigonol y brifordd er mwyn cynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod y gwaith adnewyddu goleuadau fordd, ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 19/11/2024 a bydd yn weithredol am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa bynnag un a ddaw gyntaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith sydd wedi’i gynllunio yn digwydd rhwng yr oriau 09:30am a 15:30pm ar 19/11/2024. 

Amserlen - Ni chaif unrhyw berson yn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd ddefnyddio’r fordd ar Heol Pen-Y-Cae o’i chyfordd gyda phont gerdded M4 hyd at rif 1 Heol Pen-Y-Cae. Gall cerbydau ddilyn llwybr arall drwy: Llwybr Gwyro dros dro 1: Heol Pen-Y-Cae, cylchfan A4061 Pen-Y-Cae, Pont y Gogledd dros M4 A4063 Ffordd Gyswllt Sarn tua’r Gorllewin, A4063 Heol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, Heol Pen-Y-Cae. Llwybr Gwyro dros dro 2: Heol PenY-Cae, A4063 Heol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, A4063 Ffordd Gyswllt Sarn tua’r Dwyrain, A4061 Pont tua’r De dros M4, A4061 cylchfan Pen-Y-Cae, Heol Pen-Y-Cae. Bydd mynediad i’r holl wasanaethau brys yn cael ei gynnal yn ystod y cyfyngiadau a bydd mynediad i bob eiddo yn cael ei gynnal bob amser. Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiad yn weithredol ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau ag a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion trafg a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyfredinol Arwyddion Trafg 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 
(PEN-Y-CAE LANE, PEN-Y-CAE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Secton 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulaton Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restricton set out in the schedule below.

The Order is due to insufcient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during renewing lamp posts and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 19/11/2024 and will contnue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or untl such tme as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is antcipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm on 19/11/2024.

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pen-Y-Cae Lane from its juncton with Pen-Y-Cae access lane to M4 foot Bridge to number 1 Pen-Y-Cae Lane.

The alternatve route for vehicles is via: Temporary Diversion Route for vehicles 1: Pen-Y-Cae Lane, A4061 PenY-Cae roundabout, A4061 North Bound Bridge over M4, A4063 Sarn Link West Bound, A4063 Bridgend Rd, Pen-YCae Lane. Temporary Diversion Route 2: Pen-y-Cae Lane, A4063 Bridgend Rd, A4063 Sarn Link East Bound, A4061 South Bound Bridge over M4, A4061 Pen-Y-Cae roundabout, Pen-Y- Cae Lane. Access to all emergency services will be maintained during the restrictons and access to all propertes will be maintained at all tmes. The restrictons shall however only apply at such tme and to such extent as shall from tme to tme be indicated by trafc signs prescribed by The Trafc Signs Regulatons and General Directons 2016.
