Suffolk - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Maintenance Works

What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A131 BALLINGDON STREET, SUDBURY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A131 Ballingdon Street, Sudbury from no. 31 for 30 metres north eastbound to facilitate repairs to a defect In the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A131, the A134, the A1092, the A1017, the A1124, the A131 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 06/11/2024 - 5am on 07/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8623 KEDINGTON HILL, LITTLE CORNARD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8623 Kedington Mill, Little Cornard from 260 metres east of the junction with the B1508 for 180 metres eastbound to facilitate pole replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Head Lane, the B1508 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 06/11/2024 from 9.30am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
