Carlyle Square - Temporary Road Closures For Utility Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES CARLYLE SQUARE
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
Carlyle Square to be closed from outside of number 13 to outside of number 17 Carlyle Square.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 11th November 2024 until 18.00hrs on Thursday 14th November 2024, or until the works are completed.
Diverted traffic may use Carlyle Square in both directions.
The one-way working of Carlyle Square Road is to be suspended for the duration of the works.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
