CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U1122 NEAR KIRKANDREWS-ON-EDEN, ETTERBY ROAD, ETTERBY, CARLISLE AND C1013 BRAMPTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:

1. U1122 near Kirkandrews-on-Eden, from a point approx. 560m south of its junction with the C2042, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 441 m.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the U1122, B5307 Moorhouse Road, A689 and the C2042.

Duration: From 20 November 2024 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROC/12490)

2. Etterby Road, Etterby, Carlisle from a point approx. 230m north east of its junction with Stainton Road, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 100m.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of Etterby Road, Kingmoor Road, A689, U102 and Stainton Road.

Duration: From 2 December 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/12731)

3. C1013 Brampton, from its junction with the U1098, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 480m

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C1013, A6071, Carlisle Road and the A689.

Duration: From 12 December 2024 for approx. 2 days (Ref TTROC/12824)

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times

The Order will come into operation on 20 November 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
