Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

The County of Cornwall (Road From Briston Orchard To Hornifast Wood, St Mellion)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Mellion. This prohibition is necessary for pole renewal works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd December 2024 to 4th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Briston Orchard To Hornifast Wood, St Mellion between the junction of the A388 and grid reference SX 40016 64863.

(Coombe Road, St Stephens)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Stephens. This prohibition is necessary for railway bridge repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd December 2024 to 5th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Coombe Road, St Stephens between the junction of Vincent Way and grid reference SX 42994 58542.

(Road From Morden Farm To Whod Have Thought It Inn, St Dominick) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Dominick. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th

December 2024 to 18th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Morden Farm To Whod Have Thought It Inn, St Dominick between grid reference SX 41294 67549 and property known as Clements House.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 2nd September 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Skinnard Lane, Albaston between grid references SX 42455 70368 and SX 42695 70386.

The Order which commenced on the 3rd September 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 29th November 2024.

The prohibition will be in force from 1330 hours on the 15th July 2024 and continue until 0600 hours 29th November 2024, weekdays only. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public dure to unsafe steel work on the bridge over the highway.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
