Notice is hereby given: Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 45, 48, 49, 53 and Parts III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the Order:
To Implement: 'Prohibition of Vehicles' on the following length of road:
Road: Dyers Road, Stanway
Description: From its junction with Blackberry Road in a south westerly direction for approximately 50 metres. (The existing carriageway will be converted to grass verge, allowing for pedestrian access only)
To Implement: 'Prohibition of Motor Vehicles' on the following length of road:
Road: Heath Road, Stanway
Description: From its junction with Peartree Road, in a south easterly direction for approximately 30 metres. (The existing carriageway will be converted to grass verge & an unsegregated shared use footway/cycleway)
Notice is also hereby given that under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) proposes to remove existing 'Zebra' Pedestrian Crossing on the following length of road:
Road: Blackberry Road, Stanway
Description: From a point approximately 19 metres west of the roundabout junction, with Winstree Road and Peartree Road.
To Implement: 'Zebra' Pedestrian Crossing on the following length of road:
Road: Blackberry Road, Stanway
Description: The centre line of the crossing is approximately 25 metres west of the roundabout junction with Winstree Road and Peartree Road.
The width of the crossing between the give way lines is approximately 5 metres. The length of the Zig Zags are as follows:
BOTH SIDES: from the give way lines for an approximate distance of 17 metres.
To Implement: 'Toucan' Crossing on the following length of road:
Road: Peartree Road, Stanway
Description: The centre line of the crossing is approximately 16 metres east of the roundabout junction with Winstree Road and Blackberry Road.
The width of the crossing between the give way lines is approximately 8 metres.
The length of the Zig Zags are as follows:
EAST SIDE: from the give way line for approximately 13 metres.
WEST SIDE: from the give way line for approximately 11 metres.
Speed Tables
Notice is hereby given under Section 90(A-F) of the Highways Act 1980 that Essex County Council intends to implement Speed Tables on the following lengths of road:
Road: Winstree Road, Stanway
Description: From a point approximately 9 metres north of the roundabout junction of Peartree Road & Blackberry Road northwards for approximately 12 metres (with a gradient of 6.67%)
Road: Heath Road (New), Stanway
Description: From a point approximately 6 metres east of its junction with the new spine road alignment eastwards for approximately 12 metres (with a gradient of 8.3%)
Road: Dyers Road, (New) Stanway
Description: From a point approximately 6 metres west of its junction with the new spine road alignment westwards for approximately 12 metres (with a gradient of 8.3%)
Road: Heath Road, Stanway
Description: From a point approximately 14 metres north of the northern boundary of property named Skerryvor northwards for approximately 8 metres (with a gradient of 8.3%)
The maximum height of the proposed speed tables is approximately 75 millimetres.
Shared Unsegregated Cycle Track
Notice is hereby given under Section 65 and 66 of the Highways Act 1980 that Essex County Council proposes to implement a shared unsegregated footway/cycle track on the following lengths of road:
Road: Heath Road, Stanway
Description: From its junction with Peartree Road, in a south easterly direction for approximately 30 metres (conversion of existing carriageway)
Road: Peartree Road, Stanway
Description: BOTH SIDES: From its junction with the new Blackberry Road and Winstree Road roundabout, east for approximately 20 metres (to include the new 'Toucan' Crossing).
Road: Winstree Road, Stanway
Description: EAST SIDE: From its junction with the new Blackberry Road and Peartree roundabout, north for approximately 8 metres (to connect to the existing shared cycle track)
The maximum width of the proposed cycle tracks are approximately 3.5 metres, to a minimum of approximately 2.7 metres where third party land does not allow for any additional width.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 23, 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the Order: To Revoke: 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions.
Road: Burrs Road, Clacton-on-Sea
Description:
NORTH SIDE: From a point in line with the boundary of property numbers 31 and 33 Burrs Road, northeast for approximately 13 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tiles:
TM180 162 Revision 1 to Revision 2, TM180 165 Revision 0 to Revision 1.
Under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended), Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on Burrs Road, in the District of Tendring located as follows.
To Implement: a 'Zebra Crossing'.
Road: Burrs Road, Clacton-on-Sea
Description: The Centre Line of the crossing is located approximately 7 metres southwest of the boundary of property numbers 31 and 33 Burrs Road.
The width between give way lines is approximately 5.2 metres.
Zigzags for the above Zebra Crossing will be installed on Burrs Road approximately 17.5 metres either side of the zebra crossing, for the width of the road.

(Hall Road, Copford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Road, Copford in the City of Colchester, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2024 for 57 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011704 - Dandara Eastern Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new bellmouth installation works are undertaken by Dandara Eastern Limited.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Heckfords Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Heckfords Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 250m northeast then northwest of its junction with Forge Lane for a distance of approximately 195m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011846 - Connect Highways Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Connect Highways Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Heckfords Road, Weeley Road, Shair Lane, Colchester Road (with access only into Heckfords Road) and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Water Lane, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Langham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 10m north west of its junction with Docuras Farm Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD022-SPA-07333-056 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while access point reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Skye Hall Hill, Dedham Road and vice versa (with access only into Skye Hall Hill, Water Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(East Lane, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Lane, Dedham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 310m east of its junction with Castle Hill for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001362846 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Long Road East, The Heath, Castle Hill and vice versa (with access only into East Lane).
The Order came into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Plume Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plume Avenue, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with All Saints Avenue for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310770453 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while supply replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via The Commons, Norman Way, Shrub End Road and vice versa (with access only into Plume Avenue).
The Order came into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queen Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Short Wyre Street a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 1 night (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03161978270 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus.
The Order came into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Wakes Colne in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 270m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140GCECCTNA08009AT - Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

The Order came into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Osyth Road, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Osyth Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wivenhoe Road for a distance of approximately 370m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th November 2024 for 2 days then again 23rd November 2024 for 2 days (2 weekends only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004168 - Essex County Council).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
