Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, TN17 1EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on or after 13th November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Whitestocks Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Bedgebury Road, B2079 Balcombes Hill, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 Station Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 Scotney Castle Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 London Road, B2079 Lady Oak Lane, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.

 

Culverden Street, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2AY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Culverden Street, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 25th November 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Ford Garage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Culverden Street, Grosvenor Road, A26 Mount Ephraim and vice versa.

 

Pearsons Green Road, Paddock Wood, TN12 7DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pearsons Green Road, Paddock Wood, on or after 27th November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Wayside Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pearsons Green Road, Crook Road, Pixot Hill, Mile Oak Road, Pearsons Green Road and vice versa.

 

Ridgeway, Pembury, TN2 4HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas main replacement to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ridgeway, Pembury, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 36 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from 20 to 94. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ridgeway, Lower Green Road, Ridgeway and vice versa.
