Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh, ME15 0JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow blockage clearance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh, on or after 25th November 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Gallants Lane and The Green. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any eastbound through traffic is via B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 High Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Collier Street, Green Lane, Underlyn Lane, B2079 Maidstone Road, A229 Staplehurst Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Linton Road, A229 Loose Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road.
The alternative route for any westbound through traffic is via B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Hayle Road, A229 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Staplehurst Road, B2079 Maidstone Road, Underlyn Lane, Green Lane, B2162 Collier Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2010 High Street, B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 Smiths Hill.
Flint Lane, Lenham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Flint Lane, Lenham, on or after 29th November 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Flint Barn Farm and Newage Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Flint Lane, Pilgrims Way, A20 Ashford Road, Faversham Road, West Street and vice versa.
Goddington Lane, Harrietsham, ME17 1JX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Goddington Lane, Harrietsham, on or after 29th November 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Holme Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to be do.
Hart Street, Maidstone, ME16 8EQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow highway improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hart Street, Maidstone, on or after 11th November 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Mcdonalds Car Park, between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The one-way order on Hart Street will be suspended to allow access
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Barker Road, Hart Street and vice versa.
Pile Farm Road, Staplehurst, TN12 0GT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow bollard installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pile Farm Road, Staplehurst, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 21 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Great Threads. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Couchman Green Lane, Headcorn Road, Great Threads, Pile Farm Road and vice versa.
Rayners Hill, Lenham, ME17 2ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow asset location works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rayners Hill, Lenham, on or after 11th November 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Harrow Inn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Waterditch Lane, Hubbards Hill, A20 Ashford Road, Rayners Hill and vice versa.
Upper Fant Road, Maidstone, ME16 8DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Upper Fant Road, Maidstone, on or after 25th November 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Bower Place and Hackney Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hackney Road, Hartnup Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, Bower Place and vice versa.
Vicarage Road, Yalding, ME18 6FE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric disconnection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vicarage Road, Yalding, on or after 11th November 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Pines. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vicarage Road, West Street, Hunton Hill, Upper Hunton Hill, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill and vice versa.
