What is happening?

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

(C5099 AND C5098 BEETHAM)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:

1.C5099 Beetham, from its junction with the C5098, extending in a north westerly direction for a distance of approx 465m.

Alternative Route: via the C498, C501, A6 and the unrestricted section of the C5099.

Duration: From 20th November 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROW/12278)

2.C5098 Beetham, from its junction with the C5099, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approx. 170m.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the C5098.

Duration: From 20th November 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROW/12278)

The Order will come into operation on 20th November 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
