Westmorland and Furness - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Utility Works

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS IN WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.20) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.

Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 4th November 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for as stated in the schedule and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

From its junction with the U5060, extending in a south westerly direction to its junction with the U5061.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5025, C5024, C5023, C5022 and the U5059.

2. C5025, Crosslands - From 7th November 2024 for Approx. duration 2 days (Ref: TTROW/11904)

From its junction with the U5061, extending in a south westerly direction to its junction with the C5024.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5025, C5024, C5023, C5022 and the U5059.

3. U5059, Force Forge - From 9th November 2024 for Approx. duration 2 days (Ref: TTROW/11907)

From its junction with the C5022, extending in north easterly direction to its junction with the C5025.

Alternative Route: via the C5025, C5024, A590, A5092 and the C5022.

4. C5022, Oxen Park - From 11th November 2024 for Approx. duration 3 days (Ref: TTROW/12010)

From its junction with the U5214, extending in a north easterly direction to its junction with the U5215.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5022, C5026, A590 and the A5092.

5. Moor Lane, Flookburgh – From 11th November 2024 for Approx. duration 4 nights between the hours of 18:00 and 23:00 (Ref: TTROW/12101)

From its junction with the B5277, extending in a southerly direction to its junction with Field Head Avenue.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of Moor Lane, Willow Lane, Wraysholme Lane and the B5277.

6. C5022, Oxen Park - From 14th November 2024 for Approx. duration 4 nights during the hours of 18:00 and 23:00 (Ref: TTROW/12011)

From its junction with Corker Lane, extending in a southerly direction to its junction with the U5215.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5022, A5092, A590 and the C5026.

7. C5024, Rusland - From 17th November 2024 for Approx. duration 2 days (Ref: TTROW/11919)

From its junction with the C5025, extending in a westerly then north westerly direction to its junction with the U5062.

From its junction with the B5343, extending in a predominantly southerly direction to its junction with the A593.

From its junction with the U5212, extending in a north easterly direction to its junction with the U5211.
