Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Charlotte Way Ref: 25-176

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Charlotte Way, as lies between number 2 and 4. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: There is no alternative route. Marshalls will aid in providing access. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/11/2024 and will continue until the replacement of highway covers works have been completed or until the 03/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 04/11/2024 and the 05/11/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Fletton Parkway Ref: 25-186

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Fletton Parkway, Westbound at Junction 1. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Motorway Traffic: via slip roads to rejoin Fletton Parkway. Non-Motorway Traffic: Orton Parkway, A605 Ounde Road, B671 Overend, A605 Peterborough Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/11/2024 and will continue until the bridge deck waterproofing on Junction 17 of the A1 works have been completed or until the 31/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 01/11/2024 and the 15/11/2024 as per the below schedule:

Full weekend closure Friday 01/11/2024 at 20:00 until Monday 04/11/2024 at 06:00 Overnight closures Monday 04/11/2024 to Thursday 07/11/2024 20:00 to 06:00.

Full weekend closure Friday 08/11/2024 at 20:00 until Monday 11/11/2024 at 06:00.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of  Through Traffic Order 2024 – Helpston Road & Main Steet, Ailsworth, Peterborough.  Ref: 25-192

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Helpston Road & Main Steet, Ailsworth, as lies between Maffit Road Track and Main Street at its junction with Helpston Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Castor Road, Helpston, Stamford Road, Castor Road, Marholm, Marholm Road, Peterborough Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/11/2024 and will continue until the telecoms duct laying works have been completed or until the 06/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 07/11/2024 to the 11/11/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Occupation Road, Millfield, Peterborough. Ref: 25-191

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Occupation Road, Millfield, as lies between number 5 and Bourges Boulevard. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Clarence Road, Seargeant Street and Bourges Boulevard. The proposed order will come into force on the 05/11/2024 and will continue until the water control valve maintenance works have been completed or until the 04/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs on the 05/11/2024 only. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – A47 Leicester Road, Thornhaugh, Peterborough. Ref: 25-190

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A47 Leicester Road, Thornhaugh, as lies between Old North Road and the Northamptonshire boundary. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A1, A43 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/11/2024 and will continue until the Resurfacing works have been completed or until the 03/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight only between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 04/11/2024 to the 09/11/2024. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below:

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/11/2024 and will continue until the speed cushion installation works have been completed or until the 10/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 11/11/2024 and 22/11/2024. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below:

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/11/2024 and will continue until the slab replacement works have been completed or until the 10/11/2025, whichever is the earlier. As per the schedule, the One Way system on Kingsley Road will be suspended to facilitate these works. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
