What is happening?
SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The council proposes to make
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No. Misc 1) 2024 which will have the effect of introducing the following amendments:-
1) Introducing or extending ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ in part(s) of Trafalgar Road,Roseberry Road/Salisbury Road, Barrett Street, Lonsdale Road/St. Pauls Road, Thimblemill Road, Lincoln Road/Rathbone Road, The Uplands, Mornington Road, Smethwick. Park Lane, Farm Road/Langley Road, Forest Road/Perry Hill, Ramsey Road/Clent Road, Hancox Street/Moat Road, Brades Road, Oldbury. Garratts Lane, Claremont Street/Lawrence Lane, Graingers Lane/Southgate, Cradley Heath. Frank Tomney Close/Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis. Victoria Road/Peel Street, Darby’s Way, Silvertrees Road, Upper Chapel Street/ Britannia Street, Avern Close/Alexandria Road, Bagnall Street/The Coppice, Tipton. Barrack Street, Tildasley Street/Bilhay Street, Leacroft Grove, Law Street/Lily Street, Reform Street, Trotters Lane/Hill Top, Black Lake/ Bantocks, Wigmore Lane, West Bromwich. Woden Road South, Price Road/ William Green Road, Oakeswell Street, Wednesbury. Whitecrest & Templemore Drive, Great Barr.
2) Introduce ‘No Loading At Any Time’ plus ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ in part(s) of Brickhouse Lane, Richmond Street & Dial Lane, West Bromwich.
3) Introduce ‘No Loading At Any Time’ in parts(s) of Herbert Road/Anderson Road’ Smethwick.
4) Remove limited waiting parking restrictions in part(s) of Brickhouse Lane South, Tipton.
5) Remove length of limited waiting bay & realign ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restriction in part of Church Hill Street, Smethwick & Cardale Street, Rowley Regis.
6) Introduce ‘Limited Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm 30mins no return within 1hr’ in part of Mincing Lane, Rowley Regis.
7) Introduce ‘Limited Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm 1hr no return within 2hrs’ in part of Tividale Road, Tipton.
8) Introduce ‘No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm’ in Bramah Way, Tipton.
9) Introduce ‘Limited Waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm 30 mins no return within 2hrs’ in part of Holyhead Road, Wednesbury.
10) Introduce or extend school entrance markings in part of Highfield Road, Tipton.
11) Removal of pay and display parking restrictions and introduce limited waiting bay on George Street, West Bromwich.
12) Introduce ‘Disabled Parking At Any Time’ in part of Walsall Road, West Bromwich.
13) Introduction or extension of ‘School Keep Clear’ markings in part of Friar Park Road, Wednesbury.
14) Amend limited wait times in part(s) of High Street, Smethwick.
This notice of intent replaces the previous document scheduled to end 07/11/2024.
