TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
Kenmore Road, Whitefield - full length
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
The alternative route will be via Hazel Road, Oak Lane & Kenmore Way & vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 11 November 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 5 weeks.
