Upper Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Poloe Replacement Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1311, Upper Road, Eastnor, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1311, Upper Road, Eastnor, from Milestone Cottage to St Johns church. Grid Ref: 373135/237389.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Upper Road onto Clenchers Hill Lane, onto A438, onto Upper Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
