What is happening?

GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (CAE REC Y RHATH, CAERDYDD) (CAU FFYRDD DROS DRO) 2024

Ar 31 Hydref 2024, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd y ffyrdd a nodir isod:

i. Heol Ninian o’r gyffordd â Montgomery Street i’w chyffordd â Werfa Street

ii. Heol Ninian o’r gyffordd â Hendy Street i’r gyffordd â Boverton Street

iii. Heol Ninian o’r gyffordd â Heol Pen-y-lan i Montgomery Street

iv. Heol Pen-y-lan o Heol Ninian i Heol Tŷ Draw

v. Heol Marlborough o Heol Pen-y-lan i Balaclava Road

vi. Heol Wellfield o Heol Ninian i Bangor Lane.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym ddydd Sadwrn 2 Tachwedd 2024. Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau y mae cau ffordd 1) a ii) yn effeithio arnynt fydd ar hyd Heol Ninian, Heol Pen-y-lan, Heol Tŷ Draw, Heol y Dderwen Deg a Heol Ninian.

Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau y mae cau ffordd 111), iv), v) a vi) yn effeithio arnynt fydd ar hyd Heol Tŷ Draw, Heol Shirley, Plas Mackintosh, Heol Albany, Heol Wellfield, Heol Blenheim, Kimberly Road ac yn ôl i Heol Tŷ Draw.

Enw’r Gorchymyn hwn yw “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Cae Rec y Rhath, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffyrdd Dros Dro) 2024”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (ROATH RECREATIONAL GROUND AREA, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On the 31st October, 2024, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along the roads set out below:

i. Ninian Road from the junction with Montgomery Street to its junction with Werfa Street

ii. Ninian Road from the junction with Hendy Street to its junction with Boverton Street

iii. Ninian Road from the junction with Pen-y-lan Road to Montgomery Street

iv. Pen-y-lan Road from Ninian Road to Ty Draw Road

v. Marlborough Road from Pen-y-lan Road to Balaclava Road

vi. Wellfield Road from Ninian Road to Bangor Lane.

This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the highway and is expected to come into operation on Saturday 2 November, 2024.The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure of roads i) and ii) will be via Ninian Road, Pen-y-lan Road, Ty Draw Road, Fairoak Road and Ninian Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure of roads iii), iv), v) and vi) will be via Ty Draw Road, Shirley Road,

Mackintosh Place, Albany Road, Wellfield Road, Blenheim Road, Kimberly Road and back to Ty Draw Road.

This Order is known as “The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (Roath Recreational Ground Area, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024”.
