The Borough Of Halton (Fireworks Display) (Various Roads Runcorn And Widnes And The Silver Jubilee Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition Or Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to a special Event being held, Halton Borough Council has made the above named temporary Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994. Road(s) affected :

Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that the
Order is needed to facilitate the holding of an Event known as the
‘Fireworks Display’.
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall
from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the roads and
no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along
the roads.

Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided. While the Order is in operation, traffic, including bicycle and pedestrian movement, along the highways specified above will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency access). Access to properties adjoining the highways specified above will not be affected by the Order.

Date Order to come into effect: 0600 hours on 3 November 2024 Maximum duration of the Order: 3 days from the date the Order comes into effect.

Note: the closures are for a Firework Display and will be in force from 0600 hours on 3 November 2024 to 2200 hours on 3 November 2024. For further information please contact 0151 5411 8425.
