What is happening?

Devon County Council (East Devon HATOC) (Traffic Regulation)  Amendment Order

Devon County Council propose to make this under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce in: 

ALFINGTON: No Waiting At Any Time on a specified length of Road through Alfington.

BEER: No Waiting At Any Time on a specified lengths of Church Hill & Fore Street; School Entrance Clearway – No Stopping At Any Time on a specified length of Mare Lane.

BUDLEIGH SALTERTON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Dalditch Lane, Upper Stoneborough & Westfield Close.

COLYFORD: No Waiting At Any Time on a specified length of Seaton Road.

COLYTON: No Waiting At Any Time on a specified length of South Street.  Keep Clear – No Stopping At Any Time on specified lengths of Grovers Meadow & South Street.

EXMOUTH: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Bapton Close, Bapton Lane, Douglas Avenue, Regents Gate, Shapter Court, Springfield Road & West Down Lane. No Loading At Any Time on a specified length of Maer Road. 

School Entrance Clearway - No Stopping At Any Time on specified lengths of Beacon Place, Gipsy Lane, Green Close, Moorfield Road & Regents Gate. 

EXTON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Station Road. 

FENITON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Station Road & Winchester Close.

HONITON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Fairfield Gardens, Lilley Walk & Westcott Way. 

LYMPSTONE: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Longbrook Lane & The Strand; School Entrance Clearway – No Stopping At Any Time on a specified length of School Hill.

OTTERY ST MARY: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Mill Stream Court & Slade Road.

SEATON: Pay & Display (Tarriff Seaton B) 8am-8pm 1 Apr-31 Oct Max Stay 4 Hours: 30 mins 40p; 1 hour £1.50; 2 hours £4; 3 hours £6; 4 hours £8 on a specified length of Esplanade; School Entrance Clearway - No Stopping At Any Time on specified lengths of Scalwell Lane & Valley View; Keep Clear - No Stopping At Any Time on a specified length of Valley View.

SIDBURY: No Waiting At Any Time on a specified length of Church Street. 

SIDFORD: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Byes Lane & Higher Brook Meadow.

SIDMOUTH: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Deans Mead, Lawn Vista, Radway & Station Road; No Loading At Any Time on specified lengths of Station Road.

WOODBURY: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Broadway, Flower Street, Globe Hill, Greenway & Road from Gilbrook Cottages to Higher Venmoor Farm; Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 9am-5pm 1 Hour No Return 2 Hours on specified lengths of The Arch. 

WOODBURY SALTERTON: School Entrance Clearway - No Stopping At Any Time on a specified length of Stony Lane. Where appropriate there will be the usual exemptions including those in relation to picking up/setting down passengers, loading/unloading goods & disabled persons vehicles. Draft order, order being amended, plans & statement of reasons may be seen at devon.cc/alwrp. Free bookable computer use is available during the opening hours of Devon Libraries. 

Documents are also available to view during normal office hours at the address below. Objections & other comments specifying the proposal & the grounds on which they are made must be in writing to the address below or via devon.cc/alwrp to arrive by 22 November 2024. Receipt of submissions may not be acknowledged but those received will be considered. 

If you make a submission be aware that comments will be anonymised prior to being sent to Highways & Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) members for consideration or being published on our website. Data may be shared within the Council & with our partner agencies.
