Thwaites Brow Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL THWAITES BROW ROAD, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Thwaites Brow Road, Keighley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Thwaites Brow Road from its junction with Parkwood Street to its junction with Spring Avenue.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Thwaites Brow Road (unaffected section), Long Lee Lane, Park Lane, Parkwood Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 07:00 hours on the 4th November 2024 and remains in force until 14:00 hours on the 7th February 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
