ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF MAIN STREET BROOKHOUSE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Main Street from its junction with Mill Close for a distance of approximately 430m in an easterly direction on Sunday 3rd. November 2024 between 9am and 4pm.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Rose Lane, Rotherham Lane, High Street, Hooton Lane and vice versa.

PART OF NEW ORCHARD LANE THURCROFT ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of New Orchard Lane from a point 25m north of its junction with Sycamore Close for a distance of approximately 116m in a northerly direction on Sunday 3rd. November 2024 between 9am and 4pm.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

November 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Long Road, Common Road, Todwick Road, A57 Worksop Road Roundabout, A57 Worksop Road, M1 Junction 31, A57 Aston Way, B6067 Worksop Road, B6067 Aughton Lane, B6067 Aston Lane, A618 Main Street, A618 Pleasley Road, Reservoir Road, Penny Hill Lane and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Vicarage Close, Dalton from its junction with Creswick Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a northerly direction from Monday 11th. November until Friday 15th. November 2024. NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Works to electrical apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Steel Street from its junction with Holmes Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction from 11pm on Saturday 9th. November until 8.30am on Sunday 10th. November 2024.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for traffic affected by the order. Reason for the prohibition - because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Level crossing maintenance, barrier renewal).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Fitzwilliam Street from its junction with A6022 Church Street for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction on Sunday 3rd. November 2024 between 8am and 12pm.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will via Milton Street. Access will be maintained on one way section of the road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice on Thursday 7th. November 2024 between 8pm and 12 am.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Replacement of a manhole cover and frame in the middle of the crossroads).
SCHEDULE
(i) Golden Smithies Lane from its junction with A6022 Church Street to the access to The Gate car park (the alternative route will be via A6022 Rockingham Road, A633 Warren Vale Road, A633 Wath Wood Road, A633 Sandygate, A633 Dearneway, A633 Station Road, A633/A6023 Manvers Way and vice versa).
(ii) Highfield Road from its junction with A6022 Church Street to its junction with Toll Bar Road (the alternative route will be via neighbouring streets).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS NO.5 AND NO.6 THORPE
HESLEY ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND HORSE RIDERS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian and horse rider from proceeding along that part of Public Bridleway No.5 Thorpe Hesley commencing from a point at Grid Reference SK3822 9633 and proceeding in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 68m to a point at Grid Reference SK 3827 9628 and then as Bridleway No.6 Thorpe Hesley, in a southerly direction for a distance of 135m to a point at Grid Reference SK 3826 9615 from Tuesday 5th. November 2024 for a period of up to six months.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via signed diversions.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the bridleway (Coal Authority works to build a new water treatment scheme)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Orgreave Lane from a point approximately 237m east of its junction with Highfield Lane for a distance of approximately 87m in an easterly direction from 10pm on Saturday 9th. November until 1am on Sunday 10th. November 2024.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Maintenance work to the rail bridge).

November until Thursday 14th. November 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Chestnut Avenue, Alpha Road, Far Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.12 Greasbrough commencing from its junction with Clough Road and proceeding in a north westerly direction for 300m to a point at its junction with Public footpath No. 13 Greasbrough from Wednesday 13th. November 2024 for a period of six months.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order.
Reason for the prohibition – because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Woodall Lane, Killamarsh Lane, Woodall Road, Mansfield Road, Long Lane, Rotherham Road, School Road, The Square, Wales Road, Station Road, Hard Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (gas main connection).
