What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -

CITY OF SALFORD (ASH DRIVE, SWINTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2024 The effect of the Order is as follows: NO LOADING OR UNLOADING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:30- 9:30AM AND 02:30-03:30 PM:

Ash Drive: (i) South east Side, from a point 10 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Heys Avenue to a point 30 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Thornmere Close (ii) North west Side, from a point 22 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue to a point 10 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue, (iii) North west Side, from a point 10 metres north east of the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.

Mardale Avenue: both Sides, from the western extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction.

Heys Avenue: both Sides, from eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction.

Thornmere Close: both sides, from its junction with eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 4 metres.

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:

Ash Drive: (i) south east Side, from a point 10 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Heys Avenue to a point 30 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Thornmere Close (ii) North west Side, from a point 22 metres south west from the southern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue to a point 10 metres north east from the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue.

Mardale Avenue: both sides, from the western extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction.

Heys Avenue: both sides, from eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction.

Thornmere Close: both sides, from its junction with eastern extended kerbline of Ash Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 4 metres.

NO WAITING MONDAY TO FRIDAY BETWEEN 8:30- 9:30am and 02:30-03:30pm

Ash Drive: North west Side, from a point 10 metres north east of the northern extended kerbline of Mardale Avenue for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to the proposals.
