ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

AUSTREY LANE, NO MAN’S HEATH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside the new housing development to a point outside property number 32.

Reason for Order: To enable works to complete laying of electricity mains.

Order Commences: 4 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 22 November 2024

Access & Diversion: Austrey Lane, Ashby Road, Hangmans Lane, Newton Lane, Shuttington Road, Austrey Lane and Newton Lane.
Contractor: S & R Construction, Tel: 07808 857 880.

CLIFF HALL LANE, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a boundary box.

Order Commences: 7 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 8 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion route available.

FREASLEY COMMON, DORDON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works for hydrant renewal. Order Commences: 6 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 8 November 2024
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

MAIN ROAD & SHUTTINGTON ROAD, SHUTTINGTON

Order Effect: Roas closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside the site entrance to the junction of New Road.

Reason for Order: To enable laying and connection works for gas and electricity mains.

Order Commences: 4 November 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 15 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Shuttington Road, Shuttington Lane, Linden Lane, Main Road and vice versa.

SPRING HILL, NEW ARLEY, ARLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Structural examination of railway bridge, closed 22.00hrs-06.00hrs.

Order Commences: 6 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 7 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Spring Hill, Gun Hill, Arley Lane, Ansley Road, Birmingham Road, Ansley Lane, Rectory Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Centurion Traffic Management, Tel: 01132 775 360.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

ASHES LANE & BOTTS GREEN LANE, NETHER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable excavation works to lay duct. Please note – works will be carried out in phases.
Order Commences: 18 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 4 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Alternative routes will be appropriately signed.

C78 COPPICE LANE, MIDDLETON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Vicarage Hill and the entrance to Upper House Farm.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 22 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 
Anticipated Completion: 25 November 2024.

Access & Diversion: Coppice Lane, A446, A4091, Church Lane, Vicarage Hill.

HIPSLEY LANE, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Install new water connection from water mains in carriageway.
Order Commences: 18 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 20 November 2024.

Access & Diversion: Hipsley Lane, Main Road, Baxterley Road, Tamworth Road, Hurley Common, Brick Kiln Lane, Knowle Hill, Atherstone Road, Atherstone Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01332 820 920.

ORTON ROAD, POLESWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for short pipe repair.

Order Commences: 18 November 2024 for up to 18 months. 

Anticipated Completion: 20 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Orton Road, Warton Lane, 

The Green, Norton Lane, Austrey Lane, Orton Lane, Main Road, Bishops Cleeve, Austrey Road, Maypole Road, Barn End Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COTON BRIDGE, COTON ROAD, PARISH OF NETHER WHITACRE) (WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of an Experimental Order imposing an 18-tonne maximum gross weight limit restriction on the length of road described in the Schedule below, with an exemption for empty vehicles authorised in writing by the Council to access “The Cedars”. 

The Order commences on 10 November 2024. 

A copy of the Order, together with a copy of the Experimental Order and a copy of an Order to be revoked, a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, are available for inspection at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and online at www.warwickshire.gov. uk/news/20206/north-warwickshireborough.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
