What is happening?

CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(ROTAY WAY) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 10 October 2024 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on Rotary Way, from its junction with Gosforth Park Interchange in an Easterly direction for 241 metres.

2. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on site as required.

3. The Order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.

4. Exemptions in the order will be provided for vehicles engaged in the works.

5. The Order will come into operation on 12 November 2024 and will continue for up to 1 Week, as and when relevant traffic signs are displayed.
