Bath - Variations To Parking Restrictions
What is happening?
BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (BATH) (VARIATION NO. 7) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will make following variations to parking restrictions in Bath:-
1. Car parking charges for public car parks in Bath for 2024/25 and 2025/26.
2. Parking charges for parking at Park and Ride car parks for those not using the park and ride service in 2024/25 and 2025/26.
Bath & North East Somerset Council will link the daily charge for hotel permit use to the vehicle’s emissions according to DVLA records.
The order will come into operation on 4th November 2024. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours.

Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
