C422 GREEN BATT ALNWICK AND U3147 CHAPEL LANE ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Alnwick in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th November 2024 until the 1st December 2024.
Road Closures:
C422 Green Batt from its junction with the U3147 Three Tuns Lane heading westwards for a distance of 50 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 17th November 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C422, B6341, C421, U3148 and vice-versa.
U3147 Chapel Lane from its junction with C422 Green Batt heading northwards for a distance of 83 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th November 2024 until the 20th November 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Avonline Networks to excavate a narrow trench for the installation of network fibre. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
