Procter Moss Road - Definitive Map Modification Order

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER
SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
The Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the County of Lancashire
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
DELETION OF PART OF BRIDLEWAY BW0125011 AND ADDITION OF A BRIDLEWAY FROM JUNCTION WITH PROCTER MOSS ROAD, OVER WYRESDALE
DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 25 September 2024, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, as described below:
1. By deleting the full unrecorded width of part of Bridleway BW0125011 from an unmarked point on the bend of an existing access track leading to Longmoor and Castle o' Trim east of the junction with Procter Moss Road and running in a south westerly direction through fencing to meet FP0125019 at an unmarked point on the edge of a field; a total distance of 10 metres.
2. By adding a bridleway from the open junction with Procter Moss Road on the outside of a 90-degree bend in the road extending in an east north easterly direction for 45 metres along an access track leading to Longmoor and Castle o' Trim, crossing a cattle grid with adjacent bypass wooden gate and continuing for a further 5 metres to a bend in the track to bridleway BW0125011 which continues north eastwards; a total distance of 50 metres.

Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00. Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing by email to annabel.mayson@lancashire.gov.uk or by letter to Annabel Mayson, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/888.2191/AM15) not later than 12 December 2024 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
