C35 REDSCAR BRIDGE JUNCTION TO BENDOR JUNCTION AKELD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C35 Redscar Bridge Junction To Bendor Junction Akeld from its junction with C34 heading southwards and then eastwards for a distance of 935 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2024 until the 27th November 2024
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th November 2024 until the 20th November 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th November 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C35, A697, U1038 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing/excavation works for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
