(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Alnwick in the County of Northumberland:
U3125 Augur Terrace leading to Cornhill Estate from its junction with Wagonway Road heading in an easterly direction for a length of 215 metres.
U3125 Cornhill Estate from its junction with Augur Terrace leading to Cornhill Estate heading in a southerly direction for its entire length of 180 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th November 2024 until the 10th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd December 2024 until the 4th December 2024 between the hours of 07:30 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th April 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
