What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(BEECH HILL ROAD (PART), ASCOT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER NO. 2 2024

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:-Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Beech Hill Road from southern boundary of No. 52 Beech Hill Road northward to southern boundary of No. 76 Beech Hill Road.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Beech Hill Road, Rise Road, Gallon Road and Beech Hill Road.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate work in the said road, namely overhead cabling works, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall be in operation between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on Wednesday 30th October 2024.

There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
