1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential tree maintenance works on the roads detailed in Schedules 1 and 2 to this notice, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Various Streets) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) (No. 1) Order 2024 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily:

(i) prohibit traffic from waiting and loading between 8am and 4 pm in the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice, as and when directed by traffic signs; and

(ii) prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding between 8am and 4pm in the streets specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 to this Notice, as and when directed by traffic signs, on the dates specified in column 2 of Schedule 2 to this Notice. Whilst the road closures are in force, the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be as specified in column 3 of Schedule 2 to this Notice. Access will be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services' vehicles.

Waiting and Loading Restrictions between the hours of 8am and 4 pm, between 7 November 2024 and 21 February 2025*

The exact dates that the restrictions will come into operation will be indicated by the placement of signs erected prior to start of the tree works in each street.
