What is happening?

REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC STATION ROAD LEVEL CROSSING, HOWDEN
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road Level Crossing, Howden during the following period:
Saturday 23 November 2024 at 23.00 hours until 08.30 hours on Sunday 24 November 2024.
The road closure is necessary to enable new barrier pedestals works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within ten hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Hull Road, Thorpe Road, Howden Road, A163, B1228, Street Lane and Wood Lane.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
