THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT N0.26) ORDER 2024
THE HARINGEY (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.27) ORDER 2024 T25
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 24th October 2024 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey: No.47 Arcadian Gardens N22, No.123 Boundary Road N22, Nos.27 and 29 Boyton Road N8 (Double Yellow Line on the northern side if the bay will be extended by 4 metres), Nos.32 and 34 Craven Park Road N15, No.89 Devonshire Hill Lane N17, Nos.11 and 13 Durban Road N17, adjacent to the flank wall of No.67 Tetherdown on Eastwood Road N10, No.31 Fryatt Road N17, No.10 Qlendale Avenue N22 (the Double Yellow Line on the north side of the bay will be extended by 3.9 metres), Nos. 66 and 68 Gospatrick Road N17, Nos.122 and 124 Greyhound Road N17, No.6 Hawthorn Road N8, No.78 Hewitt Avenue N22, No.119 Inderwick Road N8; adjacent to flank wall of No.36 Tetherdown N10 on Kings Avenue N10 (the double yellow lines/ kerb blips outside No.36 Tetherdown will be extended 3 metres south and the double yellow lines/kerb blips adjacent to No.36 Tetherdown on Kings Avenue N10 will be extended 1.5 metres east with the adjacent bikehangar being relocated accordingly), No.49 Ladysmith Road N17, Nos.33 and 35 North View Road N8, opposite Nos.38 and 40 Osborne Road N4, No.20 Outram Road N22, No.61 Scales Road N17 (Double Yellow Lines on the west of the bay to be extended by 5.7 metres), opposite Mussington House, Stainby Road N15 (relocate 4 metres southward), No. 109 Sydney Road N8, Nos.21-43 Tiverton Road N15 (shorten the Double Yellow Lines by 6.6 metres), Nos.91 and 93 Uplands Road N8 (extend the Double Yellow Lines on the north side of the bay by 5 metres), No.2 Warkworth Road N17 and No.440 White Hart Lane N17, Outside 1 to 38 Birdsmouth Court on Lawrence Road N15.
(ii) To convert existing Disabled Parking Bays to Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, operating at any time, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties: No.134 Hornsey Park Road N8, No.422 White Hart Lane N17, No.36 Park Avenue N22 and Nos.61 and 63 Ranelagh Road N17.
(iii) To relocate existing Disabled Parking Bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties: From adjacent to the flank wall of No.38 Bruce Grove on Radley Road N17 to adjacent to the flank wall of No.37 Bruce Grove on Radley Road N17 (Permit Holders Only parking will be reinstated) No.41 Devonshire Hill Lane N17 will be relocated west by 1 metre to accommodate extension of the adjacent Single Yellow Line.
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(iv) To make the following map-based changes to ensure the Council's internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):
(a) Outside No.40 Osbourne Road N4, introduce a bike hangar;
(b) on Stainby Road N15:
(i) opposite Mussington House, extend the Double Yellow Line southwards by 4 metres; and
(ii) opposite Mussington House, relocate the two Disabled Bays southward by 4 metres;
(c) To relocate the existing Disabled Parking Bays from outside No.13 North View Road N8 to outside No.27 North View Road N8, and from outside Nos.17 and 19 North View Road N8 to outside No.37 North View Road N8.
(d) To revoke the Disabled Parking bay outside No.51 Ladysmith Road N17 and reinstate Permit Holders Only parking.
(v) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) of this notice. Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 13th November 2024.

six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.
Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity
of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it
does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of
any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in
relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders
were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
