What is happening?

North Lincolnshire Council

(Various Roads/Streets, North Lincolnshire (Remembrance Day Parades and/or Services (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Orders 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council, being satisfied that the provisions set out in Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 apply, has made Orders under that Section on the occasion of a Remembrance Day Parade and/or Service. The Orders will have the effect of temporarily prohibiting any vehicle from proceeding along Roads & Streets in North Lincolnshire as follows on Sunday 10th Nov 2024 or as otherwise stated. All diversions are in reverse unless otherwise stated. 

(1) Ashby - that length of Ashby High St between Collum Ave Roundabout & St Paul's Rd 10.30am-12pm - diversion B1501 Grange Lane South, Bottesford Rd.

(2) Barnetby - Victoria Rd & St Barnabas Rd (Junction of Ferneries Lane-Cuthbert Ave) 1pm2.15pm - diversion Kings Rd, A18, Bigby Rd, Church Hill, Queens Rd.

(3) Barton - High St, Burgate, Whitecross St, A1077 Barrow  Rd, to the Falkland Way Junction 10.15am-11.30am - rolling closure - Diversion 1 Holydyke, Fleetgate, West Acridge, Castledye West, B1218 Waterside Rd, Butts Rd, Pasture Rd, Falkland Way; Diversion 2 Falkland Way, Pasture Rd, Butts Rd, B1218 Fleetgate, Holydyke - neither diversion in reverse.

(4) Belton - that length of King Edward St from the Junction of the A161 Roundabout (but not including that Roundabout) to Bracon 10.45am-11.30am - diversion A161 High St, Jeffrey Lane, Bracon.

(5) Brigg - Site 1 Station Rd, Bigby St, Wrawby St, Cross St, Bigby St, Bigby Rd, Monument Roundabout. Site 2 Bigby St, Queen St, Station Rd 9.30am-11.20am both Sites - these streets will be closed on a rolling basis, so no diversion is necessary.

(6) Broughton - that length of Brigg Rd from the Primary School to High St, and that length of High St from Brigg Rd to the War Memorial at the B1207 Junction 10.15am- 11.15am - Diversion 1 Town Hill, South View, Appleby Lane; Diversion 2 Wressle Rd, B1208 Brigg Rd, A18, Ermine St. 

(7) Crowle - A161 High St between Brunyee Rd and Tesco Entrance 11.50am-12.30pm - diversion Cross St, Windsor Rd, Potts Lane.

(8) Ealand - New Trent St, Tri-junction with Wharf Rd 10.30am-11.20am - diversion A161, Outgate, Main St.

(9) Haxey - Low St, Epworth Rd, East Lound Rd, Graizelound Field Rd (Triangle at the Cenotaph) Monday 11th Nov 2024 10.45am-11.15am - diversion Akeferry Rd, B1396 Doncaster Rd, Sandersons Bank, Bank End Rd, A614 Thorne Rd, Bawtry Rd, right onto A18 Tudworth Rd, A18 High Levels Bank, A161 High St, Belton Rd, Burnham Rd. 

(10) Kirton - lengths of approx 50m of King Edward St, North Cliff Rd, Redbourne Mere, South Cliff Rd leading to the War Memorial 10.45am-11.35am - a diversion is not applicable.

(11) Messingham - Northfield Rd, High St between Holme Lane & Wendover Rd 10.45am11.30am - diversion Holme Lane, Leaburn Rd, Wendover Rd, High St.

(12) Owston Ferry - High St between Temperton's Lane & Coronation Hall Car Park 10.50am11.15am - a diversion is not applicable.

(13) Scunthorpe - Route 1 Doncaster Rd, Oswald Rd, Vicarage Gardens 10am-10.40am, & Route 2 Vicarage Gardens, Exeter Rd, Doncaster Rd 11.40am-12pm - these roads will be closed on a rolling basis, so no diversion is necessary.

(14) West Butterwick - North Street 10.50am-11.10am - a diversion is not applicable.

(15) Winterton - Market St, King St, Queen St, Church Side 1.30pm-2pm - diversion B1430 Northlands Rd, West St, B1207 Hart Lane.
