What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE -

JODRELL CLOSE FOOTPATH & NELSON CRESCENT FOOTPATH, HORNDEAN, EAST HAMPSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: the parts of Jodrell Close & Nelson Crescent Footpaths between their junctions with Jodrell Close, its junction with Nelson Crescent and its junction with Queens Crescent.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nelson Crescent, Merchistoun Road, Queens Crescent

DURATION OF ORDER: from 14th November 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 14 days, working between the hours 08:00 - 18:00).

The Footpath Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GE Services Ltd to carry out track installation for fibre. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: streetworks@ge-servicesltd.com

GE Services Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
