The Drive (D1013) Banstead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Drive (D1013) Banstead which extends from its junction with Picquets Way (D1014) to its junction with Brighton Road Service Road Between Burgh Wood and Tattenham Way (D1013).
Alternative Route – Tumblewood Road (D1011), Buckles Way (D1010), Hillside (D1007), Burgh Wood (D1009), Brighton Road (A217), Tattenham Way (B2221), Picquets Way (D1014) and The Drive (D1013) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway patching, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 month 1 day, during the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 04 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
D349 Station Road and D349 Station Approach, Horley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D349 Station Road and D349 Station Approach, Horley.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Sutten and East Surrey Water to carry out water mains connection and/or maintenance works in D349 Station Road, Horley outside “No.25 Station Road”.
These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7:30am and 5pm, within 1 week of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists and equestrians, will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route: - Station Road, Balcombe Road, Victoria Road, Station Approach and Station Road.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.6) 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate surface dressing, pre-patching/ patching works and/or major maintenance works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 4 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.7) 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodmansterne Lane (D1071) Woodmansterne which extends from its junction with Stag Leys Close and the eastern property boundary of The Old Farmhouse, 37 Woodmansterne, and any parts thereof.
This Order is required to enable ALS Civil to facilitate new electrical connection works, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 3 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 30 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Clarks Lane (B2024) Tatsfield which extends from its junction with Rectory Lane to its junction with Pilgrims Lane.
This Order is required to enable BT to facilitate pole testing works and/or telecommunication works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day between 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 3 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route – B2024 Croydon Road, A25 High Street, A25 Westerham Road, B269 High Street, B269 Titsey Road, B269 Titsey Hill and B2024 Clarks Lane or vice versa.
Church Road (C71) Horne
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Church Road (C71) Horne which extends from its junction with Croydon Barn Lane (C66) to its junction with Church Farm (X34092).
Alternative Route – Church Road (C71), Whitewood Lane (C71), Byers Lane (C71), Eastbourne Road (A22), West Park Road (B2028), Bones Lane (C66) and Croydon Barn Lane (C66) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out pole testing work, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Featherbed Lane (C76) Fickleshole
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Featherbed Lane (C76) Fickleshole which extends from its junction with Fairchildes Lane (C76) to the southwestern property boundary line of “Pear Tree Farm Cottage”.
Alternative Route – Fairchildes Lane (C76), Beech Farm Road (C78), Limpsfield Road (B269), Chelsham Road (C228), Sunnybank (C228), Farleigh Road (C217), Farleigh Common (C217), Addington Road (A2022), Selson Park Road and Featherbed Lane or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 26 November 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
