The East Sussex (U7903 Howbourne Lane, Buxted)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Howbourne Lane – for its entire length. A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 28 October 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 28 and 30 October 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Coldthorn Lane – from the junction with B2104 Ersham Road to the junction with U7712 Summer Hill Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7712 Summer Hill Lane – B2104 Ersham Road and vice versa.
The Order commenced 4 June 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 30 October 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Forewood Lane – from the junction with C93 Telham Lane to the junction with P6731 Old Forewood Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C93 Forewood Lane, Crowhurst Road, Sandrock Hill, Crowhurst Road – B2092 Queensway – A2690 Queensway – A2100 The Ridge West, Beauport Park roundabout, Battle Road, Hastings Road – C93 Telham Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 28 October 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 28 and 29 October 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

Pick Hill – from the junction with C114 Stonehill to the junction with C330 Gun Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C330 Gun Hill, Thunders Hill, Nash Street – A22 Golden Cross – C114 Burgh Hill Road, Muddles Green, Scrapers Hill, Hale Green, Stonehill and vice versa.
The Order commences 30 October 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 30 October and 1 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Hammonds Green – from the junction with U7403 Etchingwood Lane to the junction with U7866 Sandy Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2102 Bird in Eye Hill, Framfield Road, High Street, Bell Lane, Bell Farm Road – A22 Uckfield bypass, Eastbourne Road – B2192 Heathfield Road, Lewes Road – B2102 High Street, Framfield Road, Blackboys Road, The Street and vice versa.
The Order commenced 4 April 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 21:00hrs to 06:00hrs on 29 and 30 October 2024, depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (A22 Eastbourne Road/East Hoathly Bypass/South Street, Halland, East Hoathly)
(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:-

Eastbourne Road/East Hoathly Bypass/South Street – from the junction with B2192 Lewes Road to the junction with C13 Park Lane.
The Order commences 9 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 17:00hrs to 23:00hrs on 9 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 8 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 and 11 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (A267 Little London Road, Heathfield)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Little London Road – from the junction with A267 Cross in Hand Road to South Te- Whare.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A267 Cross in Hand Road, Mayfield Road, Heathfield Road – A272 Summer Hill, Main Road, Curtains Hill, The Toll, Pound Green, High Street, Station Road, Lephams Bridge Road, Buxted Road, Budletts Lane, London Road – A26 Uckfield bypass – A22 Uckfield bypass, Eastbourne Road, East Hoathly bypass, South Street, Whitesmith, Holmes Hill, Golden Cross, The Dicker – A267 New North Street, North Street, Eastbourne Road, Horam Road, High Street, Little London Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 10 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 10 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic eastbound via A259 Drove Road – A26 New Road – A26(T) New Road – A26(T) Beddingham Road – A26(T) Newhaven Road – A27(T) Ranscombe Hill – A27(T) Lewes bypass – A27(T) Brighton Road – B2123 The Drove – B2123 Falmer Road (B&H) – C9260 Warren Road (B&H) – Wilson Avenue (B&H) – B2118 Roedean Road (B&H) – A259 Marine Drive (B&H) – A259 Marine Drive, South Coast Road, Brighton Road, Lewes Road & westbound via A259 Brighton Road, South Coast Road, Marine Drive – A259 Marine Drive (B&H) – B2118 Roedean Road (B&H) – Wilson Avenue (B&H) – C9260 Warren Road (B&H) – B2123 Falmer Road (B&H) – B2123 The Drove – A27(T) Brighton Road – A27(T) Lewes bypass – A27(T) Ranscombe Hill – A26(T) Newhaven Road – A26(T) Beddingham Road – A26(T) New Road – A26 New Road – A259 Drove Road.
