Butt Lane and Manor Cattle Yard Access Road - Temporary Traffic Regulation

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(MAIN STREET, WARTER (PART))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order
the effect of which is to prohibit any person from
causing any vehicle to proceed along part of Main
Street, Warter between its junction with Butt Lane and
Manor Cattle Yard Access Road from 29 October
2024 at 08.00 hours until 20.00 hours on
31 October 2024. The reason for the closure is to
enable the proposed new water supply connection
works, to be carried out and completed in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is
anticipated that the works will be completed within
three days. The alternative route for traffic affected by
the Order is via Main Street, Addlekeld and Lairs Lane.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and
for vehicular access to properties directly affected by
the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 29 October 2024 and
continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months
or until the works which it is proposed to carry out
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
