What is happening?

Abandonment
Kinard Park, Garvagh

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), gives notice of its
intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads
(Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be
to abandon an area of 1341 square metres of carriageway
comprising two parts and an area of 656 square metres
of footway comprising four parts at Kinard Park, Garvagh
commencing at a point 50 metres north of its junction with
Fort Road, after completion of such works as the Department
considers necessary to provide alternative facilities.
The areas of road proposed to be abandoned are delineated
on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may
be inspected free of charge during office hours within the
period 23 October 2024 to 3 December 2024 at DfI Roads
Northern Division, County Hall, Castlerock Road, Coleraine,
BT51 3HS or viewed online at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only
which can only be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail
address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday
to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
Any person may, within the period above, object to the
proposal by writing to the Department at the address above
or by e-mailing landsofficecoleraine@infrastructure-ni.gov.
uk stating the grounds of the objection. The information
you provide in your response to this consultation, excluding
personal information, may be published or disclosed in
accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(FOIA) or the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).

Temporary Road Closure
U46 Cozies Road, Bushmills
NOTICE is hereby given that the Department, acting in
pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (NI) Order 1997, intends to close temporarily
to traffic:
U46 Cozies Road Bushmills from its junction with Haw Road
to its junction with Cabragh Road.
The closures will be in place continuously from 08:00
on Monday 28th October 2024 until 18:00 on Friday 20th
December 2024 to facilitate the installation of a new water
main on behalf of NI Water.
Vehicles requiring access to lands or premises abutting
the closed length of road will be accommodated. Diversion
routes via Carnbore Road, and Haw Road will be signposted.
Temporary Road Closure
U500 Fairhill Street and The Diamond,

Ballycastle

NOTICE is hereby given that the Department, acting in
pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (NI) Order 1997, intends to close temporarily
to traffic:
U500 Fairhill Street Ballycastle from its junction with Castle
Street to its junction with Mill Street and The Diamond
Ballycastle from its junction with Ann Street to its junction
with Fairhill Street.
The closures will be in place continuously from 21st
October 2024 to 1st January 2025 to facilitate a structural
assessment of the adjacent building.
Vehicles requiring access to businesses and premises in
The Diamond will be accommodated. Diversion route for
Fairhill Street closure will be signposted via Mill Street, Kilns
Road, Coleraine Road and Castle Street.
