HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y darn hwnnw o'r ffordd Dosbarth III sy'n arwain i Babel, oddeutu 1.4km i'r de-ddwyrain o Bont Melin-Gutto, am bellter o 840 metr i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain.

Lie bo'n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau.

Y Ffordd Arall ar gyfer traffig sydd am deithio tua'r gogledd-orllewin fydd parhau i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogledd ar hyd y ffordd Dosbarth III sy'n arwain i Babel, gan tynd heibio i eiddo o'r enw Gwarllwyn a Glyntywarch. Parnau trwy bentref Babel a Phentre Ty-Gwyn am bellter o oddeutu 3.4km i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin hyd at Bont Melin-Gutto. Troi i'r chwith with y gyffordd ar y bont a pharhau ar hyd y ffordd Dosbarth III sy'n arwain i Babel i ddychwelyd i fan sydd i'r gogledd-orllewin o'r man lie mae'r ffordd ar gau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd y gwaith o osod traciau newydd a blychau newydd wedi'i gwblhau gan Openreach.

Bwriedir i'r gwaith ddechrau ddydd Llun 4 Tachwedd 2024, tan ddydd lau 14 Tachwedd 2024.

The County of Carmarthenshire. (Class III Road leading from Melin-Gutto Bridge to Babel, Llandovery) (Temporary prohibition of through traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that length of the Class III leading to Babel, approximately 1.4 km in a south-easterly direction from Melin-Gutto Bridge, for a distance of 840 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route for north-west bound traffic will be to proceed along the Class III road leading to Babel in a general northerly direction, passing properties known as Gwarllwyn and Glyntywarch. Continue through the village of Babel and the village of Pentre Ty-Gwyn for a distance of approximately 3.4 km in a south-westerly direction to the Melin-Gutto Bridge. At the junction on the bridge, turn left and proceed along the Class III road leading to Babel to return to a point north-west of the closure.

The Order will continue in force until the works to lay new tracks and install new boxes have been completed by Openreach.

It is intended that the works will commence on Monday the 4th of November 2024, until Thursday the 14th of November 2024.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
